Check
the retailers references
Obtain the names of at least 3 satisfied customers and call them,
or ask to see written testimonials from 3 customers. Check if anything
has gone wrong with the delivery or the product, how service of
the spa has been, and whether the retailer was as eager to help
after the spa had been paid for.
What is the manufacturer's track record and reputation?
Find a manufacturer who will be around. Question each dealer about
the manufacturer of the spas they sell. How long have they manufactured
spas? What is the size of their dealer network? This assessment
of the manufacturer is important in order to gauge how long they'll
be around in the future.
Check the dealers track record
How long has the dealer been in business and how long have
they carried the current brand of spa? The longer a dealer has been
in business, the better their track record is likely to be. And,
the longer they've carried a particular brand of spa, the higher
your confidence level can be. Dealers with a history of switching
brands, or carrying too many brands at once are unlikely to have
a strong customer referral base -or be as willing to service spas
they don't currently carry.
Just as it is important to seek out a manufacturer with a strong
company history, you should select a dealer who has shown commitment
to the manufacturers line. Wright Spa Pools have been in the spa
business for over 25 years, and have only ever carried 2 major brands
of spa, 1975 -1989 we manufactured our own brand of spas, 1989 to
present, we have proudly carried the HotSpring Portable Spas, the
world's number one selling portable spa.
Service
Another key shopping tip is to seek out a low-pressure,
reputable dealer who can answer all of your buying questions. Ask
if the dealer provides a free site inspection to help you determine
the best place for your new spa. A spa professional can also recommend
the size of spa appropriate for your site and family needs. You'll
want to do business with a dealer who will give you service as good,
after the sale, as before you purchase.
